San Diego and Los Angeles, California

On July 29, 1945, one week after the Alamogordo test and 6 days before Hiroshima, I was born in San Diego, California. So I guess I'm a nuclear baby (not much to be proud about, is it?). I left San Diego when I was only a couple months old and have no memories of the place other than a short return in 1994 on my way from San Francisco to Austin, Texas.

From 1969 to 1971, I lived in Los Angeles, first in Hollywood (behind Grauman's Theatre) and then out in Santa Monica Canyon, near the ocean. I worked as a musician (rock and roll, of course) and dated Snow White. Actually I dated the girl who worked for Walt Disney Productions as Snow White (she played the part in a traveleing show that accompanied the re-release of the movie.
